Family Description:

We are a family with three children looking for a native English speaking Au Pair. Mom Katia is from Belgium and is at home, Dad Karl-Johan is Swedish-Spanish and works as a sales Director. At home we speak English and Swedish though Spanish is the language we use most friends and family.The two oldest boys two and a half and almost five go to school from 9am to 3pm. The almost 1 yr old stays at home with Mom. We live in a town ca 30 km from Madrid in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a regular bus service in to Madrid. There are many sports facilities nearby. The community premises include swimming pool, tennis courts and playground. The surroundings are beautiful and ideal for hiking or mountain biking.

Au Pair Letter:

Hi, we are looking for an easy-going and cheerful au pair who is enthusiastic about children. It is important for us that you speak English with the children so they expand their vocabulary in that language. We basically want you to play with them after school, which means pretending to be a pirate, playing cars, running outside, going to the playground, doing arts and crafts with them or even digging in the mud. Mommy takes care of the baby for most of the time. We also would like you to help out with bathing and dinner in the evening. You will have your own bedroom with bathroom in the semi-basement of our house. You will have a TV with Dvd player and PC with internet connection in your room. We think it is important you adapt easily to new situations and that you easily make contact with people. You should be eager to learn about new cultures. Our children look forward to meet their new big sister!
