What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Children’s school timetable: Valerio from 8 a.m-until 4 p.m. Veronica and Lorenzo from September will go to school from 8 a.m until - 6 p.m. you have your free time when the children are in the school. On Friday you are completely free full day off and on Saturday and on Sunday you work from 10: 00 a.m until 17:00 pm . In the evenings the parents are always in the house and you are free if you want to exit when the children are sleeping. We can change the work schedule if you have some problem for example if on Sunday you want to attend religious services. We have some help in all the domestic works but some little help is always welcomed but the most part of time you must play with children Pocket money: 450 euro for months .

Family Description:

I am Giuseppina 39 years old. I am looking for an au pair plus from any country but NATIVE SPOKEN ENGLISH for help me in take care of my 3 children Valerio is 3 years old and the twins Veronica and Lorenzo are 1 year old. I live in Modena, the old, beautiful medium town in the northern Italy near Bologna 25 minutes by train , Parma 20 minutes by train , Florence 1h30 by train , Milano 1:30 by train with my husband Roberto 39 years old and the children no pets. I have a help for heavy homework. You’ll be our second au pair after a nice girl from Utah that is still here until September if you want, you can call this girl. Our flat 4 rooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 terraces is ten minutes by foot to Modena’s center. In Modena center is a University, pubs, free and big library with a lot of Italian and international books and newspapers. A cheap swimming pool is reachable in ten minutes by foot from ours flat. There is a public transport station in front of the house, and public bicycles are available for free. The city of Modena organises free, good courses about Italian language for foreigners 4 hours weekly 20 minutes by foot to ours house for prepare the examination for Certificate of knowledge of the Italian Language CELI . There are the others good courses but they are not free. In the first period we help the au pair to get used to new country, culture, family. We are catholic but we don’t regular attend religious service. We eat frequently biologic food . I am not a big cook and au pair can choice if she want eat my cooking or cook her meals by herself. The au pair has her own private room with a bed, a table, a cupboard, a chair, 2 shelves, great shoe, fan on the ceiling and her own big tv. The au pair has her own private bathroom accessible only by is bedroom. Free unlimited internet access. Free access to phone for national calls. You can use skype for international calls. I wish the au pair start in September and stay for about 1 year but I am flexible on the departure date and length of staying of them. I would prefer a native spoken English person who also speak italian elementary at least and to be no smoker. My husband speaks English and I speak French and just little English. You must speak English with children not with parents.
