What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for someone who would want to come for a couple of months or a little more , and help us watch our little boy while we work on the house , help us keep the house clean , and maybe help us a bit with some cooking ... it sounds like a lot but we participate too in all of the above ,... basically , about 5 hours of work a day . 5 to 7 days a week ...it is up to her or him ... since they are free to go explore during the week end ... we re flexible. they should have a driver license , and knowledge of CPR ... speak both languages , french and english , if possible. we are very friendly , always have a good time at the house , with many fun friends coming by throughout the summer .. we would give them some money every week ... we 're thinking about 100 euros . We re looking for someone coming in for the experience more than for the money , we are very community oriented . We, of course would like someone who truly enjoy babies , and like to play .

Family Description:

Our names are Karine and Jade , and we have an 18 months old , Raphael . We have a female dog , border collie, Lily , and chickens. We bought an old stone house in the South of france which we are working on to transform into an artist retreat. I am a stunt woman and my husband is a high wire walker. we live 6 months in Los Angeles, 6 months in France. My husband is americain , and I am franch , we re both bilingual. Very friendly and artistics. We have a lot of friends coming by the house in the summer to give us a hand and enjoy ! The house is by a little river , and walking distance to a little lake where you can swim. Great hikes ... just awesome ! Raphael is an amazing little boy , very easy going ... happy , curious, fun ... sleeps a couple of naps a day ... a little bit of a bird when eating comes ... but just a joy to watch.
