You will basically be responsible for taking care of our two kids, which is one hour in the morning and 3-4 hours in the afternoon, since we both are working. It is important to us that you are a very independent person, a person who will show initiative, and who will enjoy a new family, a new culture, and probably a new language. Respect the kids and have fun and patience discovering with them everydays new challenges. Contribute to the family rules in a relaxed and fun way. We will give you lots of flexibility in the weekends and nights, but we do expect flexibility in return. We would like you to have a great time with our kids and lead an active life. Help where you can with some required light household, while the kids are in school, and the cooking. Since we have a cleaner, taking care of the kids will have priority. Weekend or evening work is seldom required. Show initiative and joy at work!

Dear Aupair We are an easy going and friendly German / Austrian family of four, living in Rümlang, near Zurich, a lively city and a fun place to go out in, whose centre can be reached in about 15 minutes by public transportation. We both work in IT banking business. My husband is usually gone during the week, therefore our family focus rests upon weekends. We love being outside, but we also like to stay and enjoy being at home. You will be able to profit from the proximity of the lake in summer, as well as the mountains in winter. We can offer you your own privacy including a room with TV and phone and a bathroom. We have two terraces and two balconies and a outdoor swimming pool, which we share with two other families, which is quite frequently used by our kids. As our au pair you will become part of our family and we will really appreciate your help.
