What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The two parents will work during July and august. So we are looking for an au pair student to take care of our children all day long until the parents come back around 6 pm. We would like an au pair student from 1st of July until 23rd of August. The au pair student will have to give the breakfast when the children wake up. Our son Elie can help a lot. The au pair student will have to give the lunch. The parents can prepare the menu the day before.

We are 4 in the family : Anne the mother, Denis the father, Elie a boy of 11 years old, Sarah a girl of 5 years old.

Au Pair Letter:

We are living in a small French village. We are in the nature we have got a big house and very nice neighbors. It’s a very nice place for holidays. En summer time there is a lot of people coming from the big town Lyon. We have small mountains, forests, lakes where we can swim, a lot of paths in the forest to bike or to walk. We are at 12km from the small town Belley, 45km from Chambéry, 45km from Aix les bains, 35km from Bourget’s Lake, 1 hour by train from Lyon. Elie, our son is very independent. He plays all day long outside with friends. He comes only for the meals. Elie invited two friends of his age during two weeks. They will sleep in Elie’s bedroom. Sarah, our daughter needs more that someone takes care of her. She likes that someone plays with her, she likes to walk in the forest, and she likes to play with the others girls of the village. We would like to find someone that likes children but who likes also to be in the nature. There are no shops in our village. If the au pair student doesn’t speak good French, it doesn’t matter. The parents can speak English, Elie, our son, can speak German and he is learning English. Sarah can only speak French. From 4th of July until 20th of July a friend mason with his daughter of 24 years old will live in our house. They will work in a neighbor house. I think they will eat at lunch time in our house. They can help the au pair student. We have a lot of very nice neighbors who can always help the au pair student if she needs. In the first neighbor house lives a Polish woman who is learning French with her French husband who speak French and Polish. The au pair student will have a bedroom only for her. The au pair student will finish working at 6pm. The au pair student will not work on Saturdays and Sundays. Denis, the father will go in holidays with the two children during 1 or 2 weeks. The au pair student will choose if she wants to go in holidays with Denis and the children or if she prefers to be on holidays and to visit by herself.
