What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We would like our au pair to help with the morning routine, helping get the children ready and taking them to school. Some days she would do this by herself. In the afternoon we would like her, on most days, to collect the children from school, take them to their after-school activities and cook tea for them - don't worry if your cooking is not good - we can work on this together! We would like our au pair to babysit at least two nights each week. Help with music practice would be good but not essential. The housework we would like our au pair to do is to help with washing clothes not ironing, some cooking, and to do her share of clearing up after meals. Au pair must be able to drive, and will have use of a car most of the time. We also would like our au pair to have fun in our city !, and we will arrange and pay for an English language course. Our first German au pair lives close by and will be able to help you get to know the city - she liked it so much she decided to stay!

Family Description:

We are a happy, active family and have two children - Thomas aged 8 and Grace aged 6. They both enjoy their tennis and swimming. Grace is always smiling. She likes drawing and reading, and sometimes dancing. Thomas likes his DS, Ben 10 and tennis ... and violin! As a family we like to go out walking, eat cake and play music - and sometimes going away in our VW camper van. Mum likes riding her horse, and Dad likes making pizza. We all love skiing and go at leat twice a year. We are both busy lawyers, who do a lot of other activities and who really need help at the beginning and end of the day and sometimes inbetween. We live in Birmingham, which is a very busy city with good transport theatres nightclubs churches coffee shops a symphony orchestra universities and it is close to the countryside too.

Au Pair Letter:
