What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We hope that theaupair who joins our family would be to be kind and loving to our three children. We would hope the aupair to have a gentle manner as we feel it is important to correct children when they have done something wrong but to do it in a firm and fair manner. Duties would beto prepare the childrens meals and feed them on the days that we work and to wash and dress them. We would hope that the children would play with the aupair and learn from them. The Aupair would have her own room in the house and I would like that the aupair would be part of our family at the same time we would also very much respect the aupairs need for privacy. It is important to us that the aupair would stay for a minimum of a year as we feel the kids need this form of security.

Family Description:

My name is Fiona and I work in finance I work three days one week and three and half the following week. My husband Aidan is self employed. My son David is the eldest and he is attending pre school so he is in school in the mornings. David is a very good boy and prides himself on being good. He is a quiet child by nature and very lovable. Katie is two and a very independant little lady. She is cute and stubborn at the same time. She would buy and sell David. Abbie is a year old and is a gentle patient sweet little girl and I hope her personality will always be the same. I hope this gives some insight to our family. We have a dog he is a big part of the family but does not come into the house.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Aupair I hope I have given some insight in to what I expect and about us as a family. We live about three miles from the city centre of Cork and about a mile from two big shopping areas. There are three bus routes from our house to the city centre and to these shopping areas. We have lovely walks near where we are living which are very safe to bring children for a walk or cycle as there are no traffic on these walks you would almost feel you were in the country. We are very outdoor people walking, cycling, boating when the weather is good and we spend a lot of time with the kids on the beach when we can as they love it.We are looking for an aupair to become part of our family life and would love it if the aupair would participate in our family activities but also feel that if the aupair did not we would respect that. Our house is very much a home so if you are interested please contact me. We would hope to have an aupair come to live with us so they have a more personal approach in their lives.
