What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The aupair/housekeeper will be expected to shower, dress/ get 4yr old daughter ready for school and look after her when not in school. We also have a 17yr old daughter, although she doesn't really need looking after. General housekeeping is also required eg., cleaning, hoovering, dusting, mopping floors, laundry washing/ironing. Grocery shopping, prepare/cook meals if we are not around. We have a busy lifestyle and work from offices on our land, therefore, you will be required to take sole charge on most occasions and be required to cater for yourself and the children if we are busy or not at home or have other plans. Family Description:

We are a very busy but fun loving family of 4. Our 2 girls are 4yrs and 17yrs and are in full-time school. We also have a dog, who is kept in his own room and has his own garden area and field to run around in.

Au Pair Letter:

Hello, we are looking for someone to be more of a housekeeper than an aupair. We are looking for a fun loving, honest, reliable, trustworthy and hardworking person who can integrate into our family, but who wil to take sole charge on most occasions, especially with our 4yr old daughter and everyday running of the house. Duties would include general cleaning hoovering, dusting, laundry - washing/ironing, prepare/cook meals, look after 4yr old when she is not in school or if we are not around. We are a busy family so you will, on many occasions be required to work on your own initiative, this would include catering for yourself as well as the children if we are not around, busy or have other plans. Driving is not essential but would be an advantage. We MAY consider providing driving lessons at our cost, for a limited period only and if successful in gaining a full UK licence, you may have shared use of a car for use during your hours of work at our cost to help out with grocery shopping and school runs. Salary may be negotiable plus other benefits. We would provide you with your own bedroom with tv/dvd player, CD/radio, desk and chair and use of separate spare bathroom. Shared use of a laptop or computer if required but our business use takes priority. Cooking facilities can be placed in your room if you would prefer privacy or you may use the main kitchen.
