What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for someone that can fit into our family and provide love and time to look after our child, Claudia till we get home from work in the evening. Claudia is three years old and is at school. Helping with light housework and preparing meals for both would be appreciated.

Family Description:

We are a nice family in the northern part of Spain. We live in a big house in front of the sea in Castro-Urdiales, a small town next to Bilbao and Santander with Spanish classes nearby. We are a couple Marta and Oscar with lovely girl that would like to learn english. Claudia goes to school, where learns three lenguages spanish, english and vask, by bus, and on Saturdays she goes to chinese class. You will have to prepare her breakfast at 8.00 and take her to the bus station at 9.00. Then you will have spare time till 5:30pm, the time you will pick up her from the bus station. Then, prepare her a meal and play till 7:30pm bath time. After that prepare her something for dinner. I will get home at 8:30 pm and then you will have spare time. Oscar lives in Madrid in the center of Spain bcause he works there but in a few months we expect he to return here. Till then, he comes to Castro-Urdiales on weekends. We have a friend who lives in front of our house, Unai, that is one year old and maybe you will have to take care of him two or three hours a day while you are with Claudia too. He goes to a nursery next to our house. We may require you to babysit once a week

Au Pair Letter:

You will have your own separated room and own bathroom. We would love to help you carry out your goals while in Spain whether they be learning the language, going to school, etc During your stay you will become a part of our family. We are very flexible. I would be more then happy to provide references of another American girls who give Claudia english classes when we lived in Madrid. Contact me and I'll tell you more about the position we propose.
