What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Help at weekends and after school. Picking up from school.Homework, bathtime taking to and collection from activities. I go to dog shows at the weekend and need someone to look after the children when I am away. You must love dogs!!! We only have 1 just now. I expect you to be another pair of hands for me. If it needs to be done to keep the family wheel turning its in your job description! I don't like wimps or excuses we kind of just get on with it! We have a cleaner so no cleaning work. A car maybe possible when we get to know each other. Pay to be discussed later. Tell me what you expect and we'll talk about it. And if you can make a good cup of tea its an added bonus!

Family Description:

We are loud. If you are timid we'll scare you. My daughter in particular is a very strong character. We like to discuss and express opinions and if we need to raise our voice to make our point we will. This is not to be confused with anger! I have high standards of my children. I like to push their independence and encourage them to think and take resposibility for their actions.

Dear Aupair, We are avery busy family. I probably take on too much. My husband works abroad and I am in the UK alone with the children. As they have got older they are developing their own interests and I end up trying to be in two places at the same time. Homework standards suffered because last year we had to go everywhere as a unit even when one child really just needed to go to bed but had to be kept on the go while I picked the other up. I need someone to just reliably be around and help me!Looking for someone with a good sense of humourand a tolerance of teasing! The ability to make a good cup of tea would be a great asset too! Oh and you must love dogs!
