What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

You would be expected to work 25 hours a week including about 10 hours cleaning / ironing / housework etc - plus one or, very occasionally, two nights a week baby-sitting No weekends unless we ask you for a special reason School holidays will be a bit different as we will need you to work for longer but we will pay you more money – If you want to go home for a visit then please try to arrange it when Ellie is not on school holiday You will get your meals and room etc - if you do extra hours we will pay you more

Family Description:

We are the Burdis family – Jim that’s me the Dad and Patrice Mum and Ellie our 8 year old daughter. We live in a four bedroom house in Whitton - part of Twickenham – South West London – It is a comfortable home and you will have your own double bedroom with an en-suite shower and toilet at the top of the house. It is easy to travel into London from here and there many things for you to see and do while you are here. There are many colleges you can attend to do extra “English” training – you will have to pay for them – most of our Au Pairs go in the evening and usually enjoy the classes.

Dear Au Pair We are a family of three and my wife and I both work from home - Ellie our daughter goes to school and needs collecting every day and taking to other activities - We are easy to live with and you will have a nice big bedroom with your own toilet and shower room - You will be required to keep the house tidy and look after Ellie's things and do a bit of ironing and vacuuming etc. - We live near a station and on the bus routes so it is easy to get around and into London for any visiting - There are colleges near by for you to go to night school and learn English properly.
