What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The job focus will be on taking care of our children a girl 5 years old and twin boys 26months old. You will sometimes do this in cooperation with us but mostly by yourself. Other household work will be light and relatively scarce. Working hours will be 40-45h/w. We expect you to have a serious interest in spending time with children and stay with us as a part of our family. We look forward also to help you create your own free time in Sweden.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Au-Pair, We are a family of five. I, Susanne, work as a psychologist, but will stay at home part time during 2008. My husband, Jörgen, works as a general manager. Our daughter is 5 years old since April this year. Her brothers twins were born Feb 15 2006. Previously Swedish younger nannies - living in Malmö, however not with us, helped us. In winter 2006 we moved from the large city of Malmö to a country-side house in another region of Sweden, close to a small village, and one hour travel distance from a relatively large city. We are living in a large house close to the Swedish nature and within walking distance to a frequently scheduled bus to near-by cities. Before moving, we spent a lot of our free time in summer cruising with our boat in the Baltic Sea to Denmark and Germany. However, in the new situation this summer so far we have had limited time for this kind of activities. To hire an au-pair is expected to give us the extended help we need as well as the possibility to offer you a way to learn our culture and actively participate in our way of living. We will try to contribute to adopt your stay in Sweden to your personal wishes and demands. If you are interested in this position, we look forward hearing from you in the very near future.
