What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Your job will entail you to be up before kids, help to get them ready for daycare and school, prepare school lunch, make breakfast, clean up after breakfast, sometimes take kids to school, kindergarten or childcare. You will need to keep their bedrooms tidy, wash the kids clothes, change kids beds etc. On the days my wife is working the two youngest will be in daycare during the day. We have a housecleaner but you would need to help with some light housework during the day. Some days there will be kindergarten or school pickups. You will help prepare dinner and you will need some experience cooking. In the evening you will clean up the kitchen after dinner and help tidy away toys and sometimes help with the kids bedtime routine. We also want you to speak French to the children as they go to a French speaking school. We will speak English to you so that you can improve your English. You would be free most days between about 10 and 3.30. The weekend would also be free for you except for the occasional evening when we will get you to mind the children while we go out. You can also come on holidays with us if you want or use that time to see other parts of Australia by yourself. Please contact us if you are interested in being our au pair.
