What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

You should be able to speak some German or French so that you can communicate with the children. It is important that you have a driving license. You main activity will be to take care of the children but we would appreciate it if you would also support us in the "day-to-day-business"; we all participate to the housework – the children too (according to their possibilities). We hope that we will get along fine with each other and that we will have a really good time together.

Family Description:

Tigran (39) works as a project manager in Karlsruhe (Germany) and I (37) am a business development manager in a Swiss software company. We are a bi-lingual family: I speak French with Mara (5) and Alice (3,5) whereas Tigran speaks German with them. We live in a small village close to a larger city (Konstanz, Germany) which is only a few minutes away by bus, bicyle, train or car. The children will go the Kindergarten as soon as possible (we have just moved in a lovely house). You will have you own room with radio, computer and internet access and have an individual bathroom. If you want to attend some German courses we will help you to find the appropriate one and support you for the fees. We attach importance to values like a regardful family life, independency of mind but also keeping with one’s word.

Au Pair Letter:

We are a family with 2 little girls and would be happy to welcome you at our place in the eastern part of Switzerland on the German border as well as ca. 60km to Zurich for the next months. We already had an Au-Pair over the last 2 years and we all found it a wonderful experience. If you are interested in discovering and learning more about Switzerland and Germany and being part of our family for at least 6 months we would find it nice to welcome you at the Lake of Constance.
