What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

This is not a job as such, but a way of life. We love getting out and enjoy what life has to offer and we include our au pairs in our everyday activities to ensure they experience as much as possible during their stay. In this role, you will operate as part of a two au-pair team. Your role will be to assist a mother and father care for their four young daughters as well as manage the family home. As an au-pair team you will operate on a weekly schedule which will rotate depending on the family needs. Each au pair will be required to work either the morning or afternoon shift independently and occasionally work together when all four children are required to be looked after at the same time. An example of a day could be: Au Pair One 7am – 1pm Prepare and supervise Childrens breakfast Stack dishwasher, wipe down benches Dress children, brush teeth and hair Put laundry on Vacuum and mop floors Depending on children’s schedule older two go to school take Bloss and Matilda out to park, beach, library, swimming lessons etc or care for them at home. Children sleep at lunchtime Unstack dishwasher Make Childrens beds, clean their rooms Wipe bathroom vanities and tidy the lounge and playroom Hang out the laundry Au Pair Two 1pm – 7pm Collect children from school Take children to various after school activities ie Dance, Swimming Have afternoon tea with Children Help children with homework Bath and dress children Help with dinner preparation, general clean up, fold laundry, feed children Put children to bed, read bedtime story.

Family Description:

Our family consists of Mum and Dad along with our four gorgeous girls Molly 7 Poppy 5 Blossom 3 and Matilda 2 plus 2 cats and a dog. As you can imagine we are an ultra busy family where no two days are the same. We are loud and chaotic at times so you will need to be a hard worker with a positive attitude, who is well organized and able to use your own initiative. Most importantly you need to be able to love, and care for the needs of our children in a patience and kind manner, whilst having fun at the same time. You also need to be an experienced and confident driver.

Au Pair Letter:

This is a wonderful opportunity for two energetic fun loving people wishing to travel and live in the amazing Margaret River region in Western Australia. It would be perfect for a couple of girlfriends wishing to travel together. Individuals are however encouraged to apply. Margaret River is small town of about 9,000 people 3 hours south of Perth. It is famous for its wine and beaches. We live on a 9 acre property 10 minutes out of town which includes a main house and two smaller houses. We also have a tennis court and outdoor spa. We are surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife including kangaroos but only a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, wineries and other attractions.
