What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

English speaker (and possibly a basic italian), female nanny, experienced, with full sense of responsability, caring, creative, sweet but determinated and childloving to take care of a 2 years and a half cute boy. Live in Brescia, Italy, June 06/12-24 mo or longer. No smoker. We are looking for an experienced, trustworthy, reliable, active, intelligent and with a genuine love of kids nanny. The most important thing is to take care of little Orso and to love this. Because of our jobs - busy mum, often travelling dad and older brother - the nanny should be time-flexible with great sense of responsability and creativity, fluent English speaker so that Orso could learn the language.

Family Description:

40 something outgoing and open-minded Italian family, often travelling because of our jobs - journalist and homes decorator mum, pilote based in USA dad. The oldest son Emmanuele is 25 years, a nice guy just graduated in international business. The jungest funny boy of 2 years and a half to look after is called Orso, an old rare italian name which litterally means "bear".

Au Pair Letter:

Dear nanny, we are 40 something loving and open-minded Italian family, we live in an old house with garden in the earth of Brescia, a city in northen Italy, in between Venice and Milan. A lovely dog, a golden retriever called Bel-Ami lives with us. Your days will vary, as my schedule and jobs are flexible, sometimes I work at home sometimes out or abroad. Most of all I need a nanny who can treasure my kid like I do. You will be expected to have charge of some light household. This includes looking after and caring for Orso, his meal preparation, laundry, ironing, etc. We often travel to the seaside in Tuscany or to the mountain, as well as many foreign countries depending on our jobs. I like to have the baby with nanny with me possibly when I am working. We are an outgoing family always happy to welcome friends and cousins into our warm home and look forward to making a discrete nanny part of the family. This is a live-in position, wherever we are, approx 12 hours per day, day off on Sunday plus half a day in the middle of the week and some evenings after the baby is asleep.
