What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Be honest,reliable,serious, mature and flexible. The job consists in helping with the children and house-hold while the parents are working and in the evening. One of the children has diabetes and basic medical knowledge will be a plus. Baby-sitting is required once in a while.

Family Description:

Dear au pair, We are a swedish-french family, living in the south of Sweden. Our city is a city of 30.000 inhabitants, located 70 km from Copenhagen, 40 km from Malmö and 20 km from Lund. There are good train communications to all of these cities. We live in a big house from the beginning of the past century, with a garden, in the central part of the city, near to schools, park, shops and train station. We have 3 children, 14 years old, 8 years old and 4 years old. We also have a little dog. We are a warm, dynamic and international family with lots of interests. I am French and a paediatrician, and my husband is Swedish and an organist, professor at the university of Lund-Malmö. We need help with preparing the children in the morning, fetching them from school and putting them in bed in the evening. We need help with household cleaning, ironing..etc and babysitting.Most of the time, you will be free on week-ends. As the school is in another city, driving license is necessary. As an au pair in our family, you will have your own bedroom with TV and video-player. You will be considered as a part of the family but will be respected in your need of privacy. As I am French, we speak a lot of French at home. This may be an opportunity for you to learn 2 langages !
