What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We expect the au pair to be an active member of the family, and care for our daughter like an older sister would.

Family Description:

We have one daughter now aged 3 1/2. We travel a lot because of our profession, and would like this to disrupt our daughter's life as little as possible. We would like to welcome an au-pair as another family member.

Au Pair Letter:

We live in a 2,000-inhabitant village located 30 minutes from Geneva, and a 10-minute drive from the lake. We live in an apartment, and you would of course have your own bedroom. The village is in the middle of the wine-growing area north of Lake Geneva, and the apartment is located close to all facilities. We expect very little during normal weeks, but we both travel a lot for our work, and expect you to look after our little daughter fully during such absences (on average, 2 weeks every 2 months). In order to work as an au-pair in Switzerland, you need to be a national of the European Union, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, or the United States.
