What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Hendrik and I (petra) are two dutchies who emigrated from Holland late eighties. We are looking for an Au-pair to help out with some childcare arrangements. Two of our daughters are in primary school and one of them will be going to kinder (kleuterschool 3 halve dagen per week). We also have 2 cats, but they are of course independent! We need an au-pair to pick-up our girls from school and perhaps to look after the 'little Laura' another couple of days. Perhaps included can be, also some very light housework, such as a general tidy-up and putting dishwasher on or hanging washing out. Most of all we are very easy-going people, who used to own a farm and had great experiences with Dutch backpackers who worked and stayed with us. We live 100 M from a beautiful beach on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and are currently in the process of building a new home. Kind regards, Petra and Hendrik

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Au-pair, Hendrik and I have 3 beautiful well behaved girls. They are energetic and very loving. We hope to provide an au-pair with an opportunity to experience living in a different country, but (perhaps) with the added bonus that we are from similar background (being Dutch; we do have bokkepootjes and appelmoes!). We live close to the beach and are members of a small sailing club, and have a 2 person sailing boat, which Petra mostly sails. Our other hobbies or interest are, swimming, tennis, squash, golf and generally enjoying life and having fun with family and friends. Annika (the eldest) asked me to add to this that they also like going to the park, playing on playgrounds, playing basketball, dancing and chatting !! We hope an au-pair to become part of our family (and will endeavour to make you as comfortable as possible) aswell as giving her the opportunity to do sightseeing.
