What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

I would like someone who is flexible and who has a certain knowledge of travel or being away from home and therefore independent. I need someone to help prepare the two children for school in the morning, take them to school and collect them. My daugher needs to be looked after during the afternoon when she is not at school. I would like to find a girl who isn't afraid of helping out with the housework, enjoys all aspects of playing with the children be it playing football on the beach, or having a rough and tumble with pillow fights. I need someone who who doesn't patronise the children but who has empathy, is kind, gentle, conciderate and understanding. I would also appreciate someone who could help with my son's homework, so a knowledge of french and german would be useful.

Family Description:

I am a single mother raising British children in France. My son is fluent in English and French, my daughter is just starting school and speaks English for the moment. I work from home as a researcher, and we have a wide outlook on life, having experienced much travel and having lived in different countries.
