What We Expect From Our Au Pair:
ACTIVELY play, do handycraft and paint as well teach English and good manners. We don't need someone sitting around waiting for dinner. You should be a shining example who is willing to take influence without beating. You must be able and ready to say "NO" to the boys and give them instruction to tidy up otherwise they are telling you what you have to do. The children loves to play inside and outside the house without regard to the weather and are full of imagination. Owing to the expiration of our membership we beg you to contact us directly.

Family Description:
Two clever boys full of imagination and eager to learn all about the world. Mother needs often a rest since an operation at the head. We are interested in many things, less in spectactular activities than in exploring and sight-seeing.

Au Pair Letter:
Our two vivid boys are looking for a sister who really plays actively with them (without get steered by the boys!) But the mother doesn't want a third child although you will be treated as a member of the family. So you should tidy up your things and clean your rooms by yourself and accept the rules without be remembered every day - just as a fully integrated (mature) member of our family. The children immediately realize if you don't follow the rules or if you aren't a shining example. It is not good for the relationship if the five years old Konrad is walking behind you and tells you to pick up the book, to close the door or the drawer! The children understand English. The au-pair should speak exclusively English to the children unless she is fluent in German. There is an excellent possibility to learn German and to learn about Switzerland and the Swiss culture. The mother works at home and take usually the au-pair with when she is leaving the house. You will have a large bed room, a living room with TV (only Swiss channels) and a privat en-suite bathroom. In our living room is also a piano at your disposal as far as you can make use of it. Free journeys by train criss cross Switzerland are possible, but you must give us something that we give you something! We are interested in castles, languages, ethnic studies, old towns and are visiting museums and attending traditional events (really deep cultural experience possible). We are living in a typical Swiss village with train station but without disco, so night birds won't be happy. And you shouldn't mind cow-bells! Please contact us directly by e-mail!
