What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

I expect them to be honest and kind. To wake the children and do breakfast and take the two young children to school. I expect them to pick up the two young children from school. Prepare dinner for children do homework with kids and put them to bed. To keep the childrens area of the house clean. To do the kids laundry.

Family Description:

I am a professional and my mother lives with me and she is a nurse. There are no men in the house. We are a very close family.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Au-pair. We a re a great family and live in lovely house we have only recently moved here from England. So we are still in the throws of decorating the house. It is a brand new home and I may be buying another that is a little larger as I hate the closet space in this house. I have four children 3 boys and a little girl aged 12.10.7 and 6. They are all very independant. They respond well to love and order. They have had au-pairs before and they do become very attached. They love to play and my daughter loves to read so it is important that you can read English. I do not work far from the house about 15 mins. I start work at 9.00. The older boys get the school bus and we drop off the younger ones to school for 7.30. So you will have a lot of free time and if you have a licence then you will have access to a car. It would be preference to have an au-pair who can drive. Kids do not come home until 3.15 from then they have homework and you would have to fix them a snack and a meal. On thursdays and friday they have a tutor and you would take them there. We have a great sense of humour we like everything to be neat and tidy. We will pay pocket money a week in arrears bi-weekly.
