What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We need help to clean, do laundry and organize the house on a daily basis. A housekeeper more then a babysitter, but some one who would still be able to "control" a child" situation. You most be energic and efficient, and sometimes run fast. We have 2 spots avaible. We expect the usual stuff, such as you being honest, trustworthy, warm and kind to the children, having a good sense of humour. We also expect you to be thourough and to make an effort when you do things. We are looking for an au pair as we would like our children to learn English and to have some help around the house. This means that you need to be fluent in your English - and to speak it while with the children :-) (But as they will try very hard to speak Danish to you, you will still learn our language as well). Your responsibilities would be 30 (absolut max.!) hours of work each week and consist of general house chores and being around the children after school. (We would love it, if you and the children enjoyed cooking for us at times as well!!) You will have 1-2 days off each week + ample time to follow your language classes. We would work out a schedule between us so that we can take your preferences into account as well if at all possible. The schedule will of course leave you time and opportunity to follow language courses nearby. You would have your own fully furnished room with TV and DVD. You would need to share the bathroom and toilet with the Children for now!! Pay would be DKK 2500 a month

We are used to having friends and contacts from different parts of the world - Mum has family in England, Germany, USA, Canada and Italy. Hopefully, we will get along with each other really, really well - we will do our hardest to achieve exactly that and to help you feel at home while you are here. (the only thing that we are not flexible about is the language skills: you must be fluent in English, sorry :-( We are a family of 4. mom is working half time and dad is traveling on a regurlarly basis. We are a very active family, like to do outdoor activities such as mushroompicking, hiking, long walks etc. We are very angaged in life and the people who we care about and prefere to spent as much time asp. with our children. We need your two hands with practicle things mostly.
