What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We would like you to support us with daily care of Jérémy, like giving him his bath, putting him to bed for a nap, go for a walk and organize activities with him, do some light housework . We are completely installed but still have some work to in our new house and you could play with Jérémy while I help my husband. We would appreciate your company when we go to the mountains, do some travelling (to Brussels)or go kitesurfing for the day on a swiss lake or for our holidays. I am not working currently. We need you to have a driving license as we live in a village and we like to move around. We expect you to be non smoker, mature and responsible, honnest and caring. We like you to have experience with young children. Taking own initiative and be independant is also very important to us. We are very open and appreciate cultural differences. Family Description:

Jérémy is 17 months old and very courious about the world surrounding him, exploring and laughing a lot. We like to travel and practice outdoor sports like kitesurfing, snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking. We have just build a house and moved in recently. My Husband Ivan is Alsacian, very sportive, plays Badminton, volley ball, biking. He is an engineer and works in Switzerland. He is a great dad, makes everything possible to please us and make sure we are comfortable and happy. I am originally from Belgium. I use to travel the world for years before I settled down in Alsace. I worked here for a swiss Airline company as Air Hostess, then worked for the training center. I recently went back to study and got a Master in Buisness Administration. I am now experiencing the most beautifull job ever: beeing a mother and taking care of my familly!

If you are an active person, that likes not day similar as the previous one and cares a lot about children, then I believe we could be the right familly for you. We live in France( Alsace), in a house overlooking the forest. We are located at the three border area were France, Switzerland and Germany meets, 10 minutes away from the city of Basel. You could improve your french and spend valuable time with our little boy, Jérémy. Our region is very rich culturaly and opportunities for outdoors activities are great. We live an hour away from the Alps. Being close from Basel, you can as well enjoy all that offers a city.
