What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We expect the au pair to be openminded and flexible,but still to have her "feet on the ground".Even though there is 5 children in the family, there will be only 2 children at home during the au pairs working hours, since 3 kids attend school every day.Also the mother will be at home to share the duties.We would like the au pair to do some light housework, such as hoovering, doing the dishes etc., but mainly mix with the children and do things with them (go swimming, library etc)

Family Description:

We are a bilingual family with both english and finish spoken at home.The father is from Ireland and goes to work in Helsinki every day.He likes reading,playing guitar and cycling.The mother stays at home with the children, since the youngest one is only 7 months old.She likes cooking, reading, harvesting and rollerskating.The children:Emma(10yrs) likes music and books.Ida (8yrs) likes cycling and playing with her friends.Kian (5yrs) likes football and cycling.Miika(4)is mad about any outdoors and art and crafts.Helina(7months)is a cute little girl with a peaceful temperament. As a family, we like to spend a lot of time outdoors,skiing and skating in the winter and swimming in the summer as well as collecting berries and mushrooms in the autumn.

Dear au pair, If you want to be a member of a fun family, we might the one for you.We would like you to speak fluent english, so that you would have no problem fitting in with us and the children.From our house you can go crosscountryskiing just across the road and there is a big sleding hill in the garden.We live in a small town just 50 min on the train to Helsinki.The tows a language course, cinema, library, swimmingpool, restaurants,cafes and basicly all you need.You would be living in a separate building (a 40 sq m flat) in the same garden as the main house.The garden is also the place we often hang around, it has 13 appletrees, berrybushes etc.We are honest and friendly and look forward to knowing more about you!!
