What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

I expect our au pair to join us as a family in everyday activities such as going to the park and the beach. I work from home and I require an independent girl with common sense and enough energy to keep a 2 year old busy and happy.Over the summer she will be required to accompany us on our adventures such as camping, occasional trips within Ontario, and a couple of family functions. There will also be an expectation to assist with dishes and tidying up after the children, a well as cleaning up after herself. Our housekeeping regime is very relaxed, no neat freaks here! Very Important:This is a smoke-free home. The selected candidate will have her own bedroom.

Family Description:

The 2 year old is a boy who loves to climb and run. The 8 year old girl loves attention. Both children love to do arts and crafts, music, and trips to the park.

Au Pair Letter:

If you choose to come to stay with our family you will learn about both Canadian and Native American customs and beliefs. You will have the opportunity to practice your French and learn some of the Native language as well. My daughter would love to learn some Irish, as our ancestors are from Fermanaugh. I need a reliable young person to play with the kids and keep them busy while I work here at home on the computer. Watching TV all day won't cut it with these kids. You have to enjoy playing and dancing with them or you just won't work out! A good sense of humour is necessary as well.
