What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We require an au pair to help with the day care of our three children and their routines and light home help. As I do not work I will be around for the majority of the time. We need an extra pair of hands to help care for and help entertain the children. Our au pair will help with childcare, nursery / school runs, taking the children to playgroups or other activities, preparation and supervision of snacks / light meals for the children and assistance with light housework as part of the family only (for example loading / unloading dishwasher, occasional ironing of children’s clothes) We are looking for a friendly and responsible person who will help me with the children and generally just being a great help and some company.

Family Description:

Hello. We are Sarah and Christos and we live in Jersey in the Channel Islands. We are looking for an au pair to join our family and help look after our three children. Christos is 4 and is starting school in September, Joseph is 16 months and goes to nursery two days a week and Theodora, our newest addition is 6 weeks. As I do not work I will at home with you and the children the majority of the time. I will be caring for the baby but may need you to occasionally hold or cuddle her! She is very cute so I am sure you won't mind.

Au Pair Letter:

We are looking for an au pair who can be an extra pair of hands for me and a friend to all of us. The main duties would be help with Christos and Joseph, nursery / school runs, taking Joseph to playgroups or other activities, playing with and helping entertain the children. We would ask for assistance with light housework as part of the family only. The hours, to be discussed, would be Monday to Friday so you would have your weekends free to explore Jersey. We do not require much baby sitting in the evenings so you would be free to enjoy your evenings or perhaps do some babysitting for other families. You would be very much treated as part of the family and would be invited to do things with us as family, should you wish to do so. Jersey is a lovely island and there are plenty of things to do. We live in St Helier, about 5 minutes walk from all the shops and bars, so you will have all the amenities on your doorstep.
