What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The au-pair would collect my son from pre-school at 11.30 and care for him until 5/6pm Moday to Friday. Babysitting for two evenings would vary from week but I would give at least one weeks notice. The au-pair would have most weekends free during the day and alot of weekends completely free.

Family Description:

I am thirty one years old and live with my four year old son in Galway, which is in the west of Ireland. I am a student in the University in Galway and my son attends a local pre-school. We are very easy-going and don't have a strict schedule.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear au-pair, Our small family lives in Galway, a small city in the west of Ireland. It is very nice here, although it rains quite alot. My son is four and is a very easy going and sociable child. Your duties would be to collect him from pre-school at 11.30 every day and care for him untill I return from college-normally 5/6 in the evening. His happiness is the most important. I would prefer that you take him to the park/playground than clean the house but I would expect you to clean up after yourselves as you go along. You would have your own room with a small tv and your own key. There is a excellent bus service and Galway is a vibrant interesting place. When I am at home, you will be free to go out and explore or relax at home. The wages will be €95 a week for 35 hours and two nights babysitting. We would like someone who would be part of our family rather than an employee. We enjoy learning about other countries and cultures but good English would be important.
