What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Our next au pair should be a part of the family, because ewe are used to treat them as "an eldest daughter" She should be responsible and trustfull. Flexible because we have au pairs due to the reason that we need flexibility, not many hours, but just flexibility. We also behave flexible to the au pairs and her needs.

Family Description:

We are a family with 4 kids, all attending school, which is 4 minutes walk from our house. We, Hans and me will mange the children and our housekeeping the three of us. If an au pair likes to cook, we will concentrate on other housekeeping things. if an au pair likes to play with the children, practise their musiclessons with them, teaching them english. It's ok with us too. So we try to assimilate to the preferendces of the au pair. We also had 4 totally different au pairs, they all did wonderfull. We and the children were happy with them.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear au Pair, As you could read already we are an experience au pair family, who has one big priority: the au apir must have a good time with us, because we like to heve happy people in our house, that's good for everybody and especially for the children. So please let us know what your expectations are and what your interests are. When you play music instruments such as piano, violin, harp or vedel, you can use them all because our cildren play different music instruments. A 100 meter from our home we have a professional sportsschool, also attended by girls in the twenties. We have a bike/ mountainbike avalilable for you. if you have a driverslicense you can use our car, when available, in your freetime. You will have almost every weekend off and 1-2 days a week additional. Please keep in mind that being an au pair for little children/baby's is different from being an au pair for children in our age. Also keep in mind that we are living in a village. Holland is very small, so you can go everywhere easily and as often as you like, but Berghem is not the centre of Amsterdam! We have a small groundfloor appartment for you with a bathroom ( bath, toilet and washingtable). Let us know if you are interested being our next au pair!
