What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We expect the au-pair to take responsibility for light house-hold work and support our British nanny to take the children to various activities/be around in the evening when both parents are travelling. It would be good if the Au-Pair could help the kids develop either their German or Italian languge skills - they are the languages they already understand.We expect the person to be trustworthy, caring,responsible, open, honest, with initiative and proactivity. The au-pair needs a driving licence.

Family Description:

We are an international family of working parents with three children (twin daughters of 3 and a boy of 7) and a British nanny that helps us with the kids (dad works in Germany during the week; the mum works in the same building we live in). The children already understand German,Italian and English which are the languages we speak at home.

Au Pair Letter:

The au-pair has her own room and bathroom on a separate floor; kitchen and use of the house gymn; course paid and au-pair wage as well as good work hours and mostly free week-ends. The hours of work are in the morning till about 12.30 and then again from 17.30 till the mum comes home from work. When both parents are travelling we expect the au-pair to be at home in case the kids wake up. We live in a large house on Zurich lake about 20 minutes from the City centre next door to a forest. If you are somebody who is organised; flexible; responsible; mature;caring; friendly; open honest and proactive and are looking for a family with those characteristics do get in touch. We have had nannies and au-pairs who have all stayed with us a long time and are happy to recommend us and talk to you about what it is like to be part of our family.
