What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

My priority is for my daughter to be well cared for and to be stimulated and happy. Other duties will include light housework such as vacuuming and polishing and very occasionally ironing some of my daughter's clothes.

Family Description:

I am a working single mother, who has an office in the house. I have one son of 15, who is at school locally and is very independent and a beautiful baby girl who will be 6 months old in January. We have one small dog who is full of fun and is very gentle and one cat. We are a very close family with my parents living in the same town, only a 10 minute walk from my house. I also have 2 brothers, who although they live a long way away often visit us with their families.

Au Pair Letter:

Hi I am looking for a caring, fun and bubbly girl to come and join our family to help look after my daughter. We have had au pairs in the past, when my son was smaller, and were very lucky with our choice, Arnauld, who stayed with us for 2 years. We are a close family and would like to find someone who would like this environment. We live in a four bedroomed house with a large garden,and you would have your own bedroom with TV for your use. The house is in a medium sized market town which has great bus services to the ancient town of Stamford, where there are specialist shops, great restaurants, pubs and cafes, a language school and university college and to the city of Peterborough, which has theatres, great shopping, cinemas and ice skating, bowling, etc., as well as great educational facilities. The town we live in has a good sports centre and some lively pubs and restaurants. I feel it would be a great introduction to the lifestyle and culture of Britain.
