What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

I am looking for a warm and caring au pair because my husband travels frequently and I work every day. The au pair will drive the kids to school and pick them up often, but spend at least all day Wednesdays with them, driving them to their different activities (swimming, etc). There will also be housework to do such as ironing, cooking, buying food, cleaning, vacuuming but what is most important for me is the relationship with the boys: singing, laughing, reading books, etc.

Family Description:

My husband is French (38 y old), I am French/German/American (34 years old). We live in a very big house which is in renovation (some rooms are very nice, other rooms need work and are kept closed) in Burgundy, France. By TGV, we are 1 hour and 20 minutes from Paris, but we are rather isolated. The nearest town is 7 km away. I sometimes speak to the boys in English, but when I do they respond in French. They are very sweet boys. They go to school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dear (Future) Au-Pair, My husand and I live in the middle of the country side in Burgundy, France. I am american and my husband is French. We have two boys, ages 4 and 6, they are absolute angels most of the time!!! We are looking for an aupair who likes the country life to integrate our family and to become part of the family. We need this person to spend all day Wednesdays with the kids, driving them to their different activites. The other week days the boys are in school but will need to be brought and picked up from school. You will have a car but we are far from the city life. We are looking for a warm and caring person who doesn't mind the country life and who can be good to our kids. We wish to welcome our aupair and develop a nice relationship. I was an aupair once, so I know how it feels to be an aupair!
