What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for someone who is a native English speaker as our children are very interested in English and have had two Au Pairs already whom they spoke English with. The key tasks are: You will look after them 2 evenings per week. Play with them after Kindergarden after 3pm and help getting them ready for school / kindergarden in the morning. All three kids are either going to scholl or kindergarden, so all mornings and early afternoons are basically free. You will be a fully integrated part of our family life. You have your own room ca 25 m2 and bathromm in the attic, where otherwise we only have an office. The core cleaning / household tasks are all managed by a weekly cleaning lady, but you are expected to take care of your rooms yourself and to participate in typical household chores filling and emptying the dishwasher, helping the kids to clean up their room

Family Description:

We are a family of five, no pets. Maya Yuki is our youngest doughter 1, Lou Mae is 4 years old. Both are going to kindergarden and enjoy playing together. They are bothe lively and very open for new ideas and people. From 8 am to 3pm they both go to kindergarden which is right across the street. Juri is 7 years old and has been going to school for 2 years ca. 500m away. He is very interested in basically anything, especially star wars lego. He is still a very cuddly little boy who´s asking loads of questions about how the world works. Apart from that he loves reading. Juri goes to school Mon-Fri 5 min away on foot from 8am to 4 pm. Lou Mae and Juri are used to a regular schedule and have a number of after-kindergarden/shool activities music, karate etc. Reinhard is a 38 years old Austrian. He likes to cook, read or do sports, e.g. jogging through the forest, which starts behind our garden. Anja is originally a drug rep, but has not worked in the past years. As a family we go skiing to Austria every year and travel a lot - you will be expected to participate in this if you want. Apart from that we have often friends as guests. Since we just finished renovating our late 19th centruy villa we spend quite some time at home and in the garden, too.e.g. doing a BBQ or just relaxing at home

Dear Au Pair, we are a young and energetic family who lives in Berlin. Our house is in a green area, fabulous for watersports, running, inlineskating but only 20-25 min. to towncentre. We are looking for a new au-pair, as our last au-pair will return to the US in May after staying with us for 12 months. You will support Anja, she has been an au-pair herself to play with the kids or take them to some activity when they come home from school/kindergarden.
