What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for someone who is a native English speaker as our children are very interested in English so far they don´t understand very much, though they have picked up some basics from our previous 2 au pairs. You will look after them 2 evenings per week. Play with them after Kindergarden & scgiik and help out in the household roughly 2 hours per day. You will be a fully integrated part of our family life. We will also provide medical insurance and your own room with your own bathroom. You will have ample opportunities close by and in Berlin to spend your spare time sport, culture, travel rest of Europe.

Family Description:

We are a family of four soon five, no pets. Lou Mae is currently our youngest 3 years old daughter until the birth of our new baby in October. Lou Mae loves singing and playing with her babies, but also wants her peace and quiet. She´s very funny, makes us laugh very often. From 8 am to 3pm she goes to kindergarden which is right across the street. Juri is 6 years old and has just started shool. He is very interested in basically anything. He is still a very cuddly little boy who´s asking loads of questions about how the world works if he´s not talking himself. Apart from that he loves Lego, and helping with some important stuff in the garden, e.g. handling dangerous tools, which his sister isn´t allowed to use. Juri goes to school Mon-Fri 5 min away on foot from 8am to 4 pm. Both are used to a regular schedule and have a number of after-kindergarden/shool activities music, karate etc. Reinhard is a 36 years old Austrian. At weekends he goes running through the forest, which starts behind our garden. He´s just done his sailing and motorboat exam as we live just 100m off the lake. Anja is originally a drug rep, but has not worked in the past years. As a family we go skiing to Austria every year and travel a lot - you will be expected to participate in this if you want. Apart from that we have often friends as guests and like travelling. Since we just finished renovating late 19th centruy villa we spend quite some time at home, in the garden, doing a BBQ or just relaxing at home.

Dear Au Pair, we are a young and energetic family who lives in Berlin. Our house is in a green area, fabulous for watersports, running, inlineskating but only 20-25 min. to towncentre. We are looking for a new au-pair, as our last au-pair has gone back to the US she is available to act as a reference. You will help Anja the mother, she has been an au-pair herself to play with the kids or take them to some activity when they come home from school/kindergarden at 3pm.
