Jim, Father is full Chinese from Shanghai and is 29. I am Julie, am American and am 26. We have one daughter named Empress who is 20 months old.

Au Pair Letter:

Our family consists of Jim (Father), 29, whom is full Chinese originally from Shanghai. He has lived in the United States since the age of 10, but has been raised in a traditional Chinese home and frequently travels to China to visit family. He works for a major mobile telecommunications company. My name is Julie (Mother), 26, and I'm American. I'm currently a stay at home Mom that would like to go back to work part time if we find a suitable au pair. We have a beautiful 20 month old daughter, Empress, who speaks and understands both Chinese and English. She is very sweet and very active. She loves outdoor adtivities and playing with her friends. She enjoys having books read to her and is at a very curious age. Jim speaks only Chinese to her in the home, but I am still learning, so it is difficult for me to continue teaching her while he is away at work. We would really like to find someone who loves young children, is kind and patient. We do not punish by any form of spanking or hitting.
