What We Expect From Our Au Pair:
|
The children both go to school Monday to Friday. Federica until 4pm Tues and 5pm Thurs and 1pm Mon, Weds and Fri, you will normally pick her up from school. Valeria is in school until 1.45pm Mon, Weds and Fri, and 1pm tues and thurs, but usually you don’t have to collect her. Federica has swimming after school on Mon, Weds and Fri and you will be required to take her, though I may be able to take and pick you up, especially if the weather is bad. Valeria has Volley ball tues and fri at 6pm and you will be required to take her sometimes but normally we will collect her after. Fedreica also has the church on a Friday afternoon 3.30-4.30pm. The schools are both local and within easy walking distance of our house, as is the swimming pool and school where Valeria play volley ball.
In general the mornings you are free to do what you want until collecting from school, the main time that I need your help is in the afternoon/evening between the time that the children get home from school and about 8pm. It is nice if you can help with lunch and tea time just to lay the table and be around if anything needs help, and also on occasion helping in getting the children to bed.

Family Description:
|
We are looking for a kind and caring person who will look after and be friendly with our two daughters, Valeria age 11 and Federica age 7. They are learning English and we want somebody who will speak English to them and teach them new words, as well as help and correct English, just when you talk with them day to day . Valeria speaks English well and Federica is still learning but has progressed a lot recently.

Au Pair Letter:

You are free to do want you want in the evenings and at week-ends, though we are very happy if you’d like to spend time with us.
You will live with us in our family house and have a bedroom of your own and a bathroom primarily for your own use. The house is spacious and light and we have Sky television which means that you will be able to watch English television and films (something that other au-pairs have enjoyed!) We also have internet access at the house which you will be able to use.
Termoli is on the Adriatic Coast of Italy and is a touristy town during the summer as it is on the beach. Our house is about 15 minutes walk from the beach. There is an old town and cathedral where there are sometimes evening markets and concerts. The town is very friendly and a lovely place to There are also many good bars, pubs coffee shops, ice cream parlours and great pizzerias in the town centre, as well as a local market every Tuesday and some great clothes shops in the centre. There is a local school and church which both offer lessons in Italian if you are interested to learn. Also there are places for fitness and activities if you are interested in this in your spare time.
The children are both very easy to get on with, and we hope you will feel part of the family as well as enjoy living here and not see it as a just job but also a fun experience.
