What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Hi, basically we're looking for someone to be with our daughter and speak English with her, as we want to sustain and improve her English skills. Besides the daily life with our daugther in our home (house and garden), you will also accompany our daughter on her way to to school and back (intially together with her mother). There's definitely no household or gardenwork or other things the we want you to do; just somebody for our daughter. During our daughter's daily school time (morning to afternoon), you will find time for your personal things; whatever you prefer to do.

Family Description:

Family of 3: dad, mom, daughter. Quite handy and uncomplicated. Metropolitan as we used to live abroad. very flexible in everything.

Au Pair Letter:

Dear au pair, we're a family that spent some resonable time abroad (New Zealand, China, Philippines) that followed our dad with his job. We picked up the international way of life, but need to be back home in Germany, as our daughter must start with school mid of 2008. We try to put all effort on helping our daughter to sustain and improve her English skills, that she build up during our time abroad. That's basically all we want to achieve. As mid 2008 our daughter will be almost 6 yrs old, we appreciate a young girl (20-ish). We will welcome you as a family member and also give you the opportunity to pick up the life here Europe/Germany, even though we will contribute our metropolitan lifestyle. We have house and garden in the outskirts of Berlin, but with good access to public transport; everything's in 30-45 distance. We will look after you like you will look after our daughter. So no worries, we're quite a handy family. Check our website for some impressions of our life. Cheers and looking forward to hear from you soon.
