What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We are looking for an au pair that has a genuine intrest in children and that would like to learn more about Sweden and Swedish Culture. We expect the aupair to have a driving license as one important part of the job is to bring the children to & from school. If you are used to cook that is a plus, but not necessary. We also expect help with laundry & ironing. We have another person helping us with cleaning the house, so that is NOT part of the work. We hope that our Au Pair likes to play with our children a lot.

Family Description:

We have two wonderful girls, 5 years and 6,5 years. They are as any other child in that age; lovely, adorable, not so adorable some days... They really like each other so they play very well together. We as parents, are both working full time and would need some support in the daily activities with taking kids from and to school. We live in a house close to the Sea just outside Stockholm. It takes 15 minutes with the train to Stockholm City. We have a nice garden and a summer house in the Swedish archipelago where we spend a lot of time, in the summer. I, Annika, is 40 years old and work in Telecommunications as Director of Sales. I have lived in Latin America so I speak spanish fluently. I also run a childrens shop close to our home. My husband, Jonas, is 38 years old and work as a consultant with Telecom and Environmental issues. Our girls are telling us that they want to become a 1) Pop Star 2) Football player... :-)

Au Pair Letter:

Dear Au pair, We are looking for You who would like to join our family for some time. We are looking for somebody that can stay for a longer period, and become an important part of our family. We think you are playful, trustworthy and that you have a genuine interest in children. We do expect you to take the children from & to school, to take care of our laundry, the childrens toys but NO CLEANING. Preparing dinner will be part of your responsibility, but we have all recepies so don´t worry. We can offer you a nice room in a Studio with your own entrance. We can offer you very nice and charming children that are NOT difficult. We can offer you nice parents and a very beautiful part of Stockholm.
