Me and my husband both work full time and have to beautiful and energetic children. Molly aged 3 and half years and Evie aged 2 years. We are a very active family and love doing sports and taking our 6 month old puppy Rags for long walks.

Dear Au Pair, What we are looking for in an Au Pair We are looking for a fun, trustworthy, kind person and someone who loves children. We would like someone who wants to be an Au Pair for the love of children and to gain new experiences, we would like an Au pair who will go on new adventures and meet new friends. Our Au Pair will be part of our family too and will be treated as a member. We want someone who is energetic with new and fun ways of making learning fun for our children, who will understand their needs and be patient with them and loving. If you are unsure about small children then please do not bother applying we need someone who is patient, tolerant, kind and has a full understanding of small children. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet new people as we have friends who have Au pairs from all different nationalities. About Our Family My Name is Melanie and my husbands name is Stuart, we have two daughters, Molly who is 3 years of age and Evie who is just about to turn 2 years old. We are a fun family with loads of energy and who love life. The children are full of energy and love singing, dancing and drawing. They want some to look after them while their Mummy and Daddy are at work, they want some to play with them and have fun, take them to the park and sing and dance with them. Area in which you will be living in At present we live a town called Aldershot in Hampshire. The town is a 5 minute walk from the house and is approximately 40 minutes on a train to London. There are other larger surrounding towns such as Basingstoke, Guilford, Camberley, and Reading which are easily accessible either by bus or by train. There are libraries, swimming pools, internet cafes and pubs and clubs within the town which is small but which has a lively night life. Responsibilities 1. Looking after the two children between 0730 hrs and 1730 hrs Mon to Fri. You must be down stairs around 0730 hrs to allow the mother to hand over any jobs and explain where things are. All weekends are your own time and during the evening too. 2. Taking Molly to school Monday to Fridays (mornings only). 3. You must play with children, sing and draw. Also you must at least go out once a day with the children to the park or for a walk (weather permitting). 4. Please be proactive when it comes to empting the dish washer, tumble dryer and washing machine, if you see it full and needs empting please do so. 5. You are required to do some light housework during the day; this is basically maintaining the used areas during the day with the children, for example clearing away lunch time dishes or clearing the toys away. The only extra duty you are requested to do is the family ironing on a Monday, you are not formally committed to doing any house work but please appreciated that my husband and I work full time, and you will also be using the amenities. 6. You must keep a daily diary of what you have done, how the children have been and what they have eaten. 7. There is no requirement to cook for the children all food and snacks will be provided for. 8. The children will also be dressed and ready for when you start work, but on occasion you may be required to dress the children. 9. You are responsible for your own room. You must keep it clean and tidy at all times. Food may be eaten in your room but only snacks not main meals. 10. Once and a while you maybe required to baby sit in the evening but this will be a rarity. Our Responsibility to You 1. To provide you with your OWN LIVING SPACE (your room). 2. To provide a TV, DVD and CD player. You will also be supplied with a SIM card and mobile phone (Top Ups are your responsibility; this will allow you to have cheaper calls home). 3. You may place you clothes in with the family washing (just place them in the washing basket). 4. We will provide you with your main meals. Conditions 1. You will be given 2 weeks holiday with pay, any other holidays will be without pay. 2. Your pocket money for the week will be £110 pounds sterling. 3.
