What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Look after the children in the afternoons during the week, from 3pm., including taking them to their after-school activities Work one day during the weekend. One weekend a month completely free. Help keep track of kid's activities. Keep their rooms reasonably tidy and help look after their clothes. Light house-work connected to the children, keeping her own room clean and everyday common house-life (help load and unload dishwasher/ take out the trash/ set the table) is also expected.

Family Description:

There's four of us. Both parents are research scientists, we love our jobs but they do keep us busy! Our children, two boys, also keep us busy! Main language at home is English. Children, among themselves speak German. Mum speaks Italian with them.

Dear aupair, we are a very active American-Italian family with two children (boys) ages 3.5 and nearly 7. We live in a big house in a pretty village about 10 km north-west of Hannover. Mum and Dad are scientists with somewhat demanding jobs. Living far from our families (in the US and Italy) we need some extra help! We have had au-pairs before and always had very positive experiences.
