What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

In a nutshell: Mon - Fri You will be required 4.5 days a week, to help get 2 children ready for school, and take a short walk to get one of them there. Your day will start at 7 am. During school hours, you have sole responsibility for the 4yr old, developing him and taking him to arranged activities, also complete general house duties during the day. In the afternoon, the children need to be picked up from school, homework supervised and evening baths completed. We will be home after 5pm each evening and therefore you will need to start dinner preparations for possibly 2 nights through the week. Once each fortnight you may be required for a few more hrs during the evening. You may get the occasional Mon or Fri off with short notice. Weekends-You will have most weekends off to relax or see the sights. You may be required for a few hours, or an evening every now and again. If we are required to travel away for work occasionally, hours may be a bit longer for a short period of time. You will be entitled to at least 3 wks holiday per year worked.

Family Description:

Well, where do I start? We enjoy quality time, love to laugh and play games. The 2 boys are into sports and games, whereas the eldest girl loves talking!!!, reading, art and craft, cooking, science experiments and also plays sport. All of us enjoy swimming in our pool and the beach when we get a chance on weekends or school holidays. We enjoy outdoor activities, being healthy and try to go camping at least once each year.

We're looking for the perfect person to join our family in Australia to help care for our children. If you have lots of energy, are a positive happy person, enjoy the sun, being active in the outdoors, like being surrounded by kids chattering in your ears each day, love a warm climate with access to a pool in the backyard, & can work independently, we may have the job for you. We are looking for someone special who is happy to play games and do activities with our 8yr old, to help him develop more strength and coordination. Our perfect aupair needs to be neat and tidy, have a sense of humour and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. You will have your own bedroom and there is plenty of space to find time to yourself. We live in a suburb of Brisbane which has shops, recreation facilities gym and pool,walking paths, parks and play equipment. We are 50m to bus services, and 20 min drive to the city centre. Brisbane has an international airport, if you wish to travel. We are 1hr drive to the Gold Coast. You MUST be able to swim and current CPR/lifesaving is an advantage.
