What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Job Outline and Responsibilities AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS ONLY PLEASE THIS ROLE IS POTENTIALLY FOR UP TO 4 YEARS WHEN THE GIRLS START SCHOOL This role is for the sole charge of 1 year old twin girls born 26/7/07 5 days per week from June 2008, working full-time LIVE-OUT. It is anticipated the days will commence at approx 8am and finish at approx 6pm. The twins are healthy little girls and we seek the right professional to work with us to continue the development of their loving and independent natures. The main focus is to ensure a loving, fun and stimulating environment focussed around the twins social, emotional, physical and language development. It is anticipated to include activities such as : 1. Reading 2. Creative and fun play 3. Walking and playground visits 4. Ensuring regular eating/sleeping routines are continued and encouraged 5. Preparation of morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner meals including cooking and freezing for future meals 6. Ensuring bedroom and play areas are kept clean and tidy 7. Regular provision of assessment of their progress and development together with any concerns 8. Some out of home activities by agreement 9. Some light household duties childrens clothes washing, ironing and washing childrens dishes etc. 10. Attendance to twins doctors appointments Skills and Qualities 1. Loving and caring Nature 2. Creativity and innovation with children 3. Experience with caring for multiple children preferred but not essential 4. Flexibility 5. Current 1st Aid Certificate preferred but not essential 6. Ability to discuss freely any issues before they become major concerns 7. NO WORK VISAS need apply as we are seeking a nanny/au pair who can stay with us for the longer term until the twins start school
