What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

We would expect our au pair to help out in the day to day running of our family, such as helping with bottles, dressing, feeding and also to get involved and have fun with Kate, playing, painting, going for walks, running in the garden, doing all the fun things that an adventurous toddler likes to do. We would like you to do some light housework and some babysitting. As I am on maternity leave you will have plenty of time off to study or to meet up with friends.

Family Description:

We are a young busy family of 4. Mom and Dad are both in our early 30's. Kate is 19 months and George is just 4 months old. We also have 2 dogs, Buffy and Milly. Kate is a lively adventurous little girl who loves to be outdoors. She is at a real exploring age and is great fun to be around. She loves drawing and painting and is great at helping with the washing up! George is a very smilly haapy little happy who is happy to watch Kate running around or even better to have a one on one chat with. We are a family living on a farm 4 km outside Cork City. Our home is a large 5 bedroom house so space is not a problem. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. I am currently on maternity leave but I work in administration and my husband Denis is a farmer. Cork is Ireland's second largest city and there is a great selection of shops, cafe's, cinemas and restaurants. There is also a large au-pair network. We would be more than happy to assist you in any way in finding language classes etc. We would like a kind, friendly, energetic girl to join our family and we will do our best to show you a bit of our country and make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
