What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

The main tasks for our aupair will be to: Give an extra hand with our 4 year old, play and read and so on. Take our baby for walks in the stroller. Do some cooking - mainly lunch and dinner for the smaller kids. Do some cleaning - mainly the kids rooms and the kitchen. Help the older kids with their homework when possible.

Family Description:

Introduction to a Swedish family. My name is Tina Klingspor. I am married to Johan Klingspor. I work at home and my husband is an estate manager. We have 3 children at home: The ate 10, 4 and a 7 month old baby. We live in a big, old castle next to a lake, on a beautiful estate with several houses on the property, all surrounded by lovely parks and forest to stroll in. There are 7 employees on the estate, including a maid and a gardener. The estate is located 1 km from Alberga a village of 402 inhabitants. Alberga has a grosery store, a pizzeria, a school and a library. From Alberga it is 30 min by buss or car to Eskilstuna a nice and lively town with 92 000 inhabitations, a big mall, many shops, cafés, restaurant and so on. From Eskilstuna it is 1 hour by train to Stockholm the capital city of Sweden. In short we live on the Swedish countryside, but without at all being isolated. On vacations we usually travel abroad, but sometimes to the south of Sweden for a week or two during summer, and skiing in the north of Sweden for a week during winter. When it is convenient we like to bring our aupair with us when we travel. In our family we speak Swedish, but everybody, exept the baby, is fluent in English.. I am also fluent in French. There is a big variety of hobbies conducted in our family. Johan hunts and plays golf. I train my dressage horse, and we both love reading, gardening and traveling. As a family we always try to eat dinner together, and that the kids show good manners and respect is important to us. But all together, we are a lively, social and happy family who are relaxed in a usual Swedish way. Our family also consist of two friendly dogs.
