What We Expect From Our Au Pair:

Before and after school care. The school day starts at 6.30 and preparation of breakfast and kids lunches as well as a general kitchen tidy up is expected before walking the kids to the bus stop 10 min walk. After school routine is prepare afternoon tea, assist with homework and prepare the main meal if necessary. Full care when I am away on business. This is usually 3-7 days at a time up to 4 times per year. Full care means preparing meals and all necessary cleaning and care of children generally. I pay $150 week and this includes your living accommodation and food but not alcohol or dining out expenses. I also pay for activity costs incurred as reasonable whilst entertaining children during holiday breaks. After school care.. Homework assistance, taking to sporting activities as required. organising and assisting kids with activities during holidays is essential also. Housework and light household duties are also expected but you should have several free hours each day during school weeks. One to two nights per week some care may be required. I expect you to assist with cleaning up after meals as I would the other family members. I expect you to use your common sense and initiative and do things that need doing for the children and in the home and then enjoy your spare time as you wish.

Hi,My name is Gemma or Germaine I am the mumof Alicia and Daniel. The children are 12 and 9 years old. We also have a small dog called Charlie and a cat named Kotchka. My partner, Steve spends a lot of time with our family also. We have had an Au pair fro the past 7mths and are looking for someone positive and motivated who enjoys children and family life to share our family with for the next 6-12months. We will include you in the family and share both the fun times and responsibilities. I work full time but have flexibility in my start and finnish times. I have a partner who spends much time with us as a family and he works full time also. The children are mostly happy and get on well most of the time and need someone that can be both supportive but also supervise and direct the children in my absence. Both kids lead fairly active lives involving sport and outdoor recreation. We enjoy weekend activities as a family when the children are home. we need someone who enjoys interacting with children and is able to relate to them as well as care for them. It is important that the au pair is sensible, caring, independent and is part of the family both contributing and enjoying family life. We try to eat dinner as a family most nights and would expect the 'au pair' to be part of the family as well as enjoying making new friends and seeing our lovely surrounds. We have a pool and are located within close distance to beaches and parks I am honest and fair and would love to welcome someone of the same caring nature into our home. .
